Manuel Ortiz Foundation Is Accepting Proposals for $5000 Grant

The deadline for submission is March 31, 2016.

Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation announced that they started accepting proposals for their $5000 grant for authors of documentary photo and video projects, PDN writes. The works will be accepted until March 31, 2016.

Two grants will be awarded to the author of the best portfolio (15 photographs) and best short documentary. 12 works shortlisted for the award will be presented at the
Rencontres d’Arles festival in France. Both completed and ongoing projects are accepted for selection. The preferred themes include “health, poverty, oppression, war, famine, religious/political persecution and similar topics”.

Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation was established in 2010 to support the authors of documentary movies and photography.
