Infographic of the Day: 500 Exoplanets on One Map
This visualization is based on information about radius, temperature and density of the celestial bodies.
A 17-year-old Slovakian designer Martin Vargic posted a visualization of more than 500 planets on his website, discovered beyond the Solar System as of October 2015, FastCompany writes.
The image of every planet is created based on the Exoplanet database, which includes information about radius, temperature and density of the celestial bodies. Although most of the figures are approximate and the real nature of exoplanets may be very different, the author says, that he tried to make them as realistic as possible.
