Photographer Captures Weasel and Woodpecker Fighting

British ornithologist Jason Ward tweeted photos of a weasel riding on the back of a European green woodpecker. The photos were made by an amateur photographer, Martin Le-May, during a walk in Homchurch Country Park. They feature the bird trying to throw off the attacking predator. The photographer said that he was able to help the bird to escape from the weasel.
