Sergey Zakharov Is Writing an Illustrated Book About His Captivity in the DNR

Donetsk artist Sergey Zakharov who spent 1 1/2 months held in captivity by DNR fighters is writing a documentary book about his experience, Cultprostir reports.

“The main idea is that the book includes not only my story, but stories of other people who were taken captive and whom I have met or will meet while I am writing the book. There will be stories of people I met there (including the militiamen) in-between drawings, sometimes scary and sometimes funny” – Zakharov says.

Right now the artist is looking for a publisher and posts single illustrations on his Facebook page.
