Time Chose the Best Wire Photographer of the Year

Angelos Tzortzinis won Best Wire Photographer of the Year award.

Greek photographer Angelos Tzortzinis was chosen Time Best Wire Photographer of the Year 2015. 31-year-old photojournalist, who has been working for AFP since 2007, received the award for documenting the economic and migration in Greece.

“I’m not just a visitor. I live inside the problem and I feel it daily, — Tzortzinis explained. — I’m really confused and troubled by it, so I try to find answers to the questions I have through my photos”.

Best Wire Photographer of The Year award was established by Time six years ago. Among those who received it are Mauricio Lima, Pete Muller and Marco Longari.
