Scientists Develop a Program That Transfers Facial Gestures of One Person onto the Other
The authors showed what Face2Face can do with the example of famous politicians.
A team of scientists from Stanford, the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, and the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg developed a program called Face2Face that can transfer facial gestures of one person onto the other person, Mashable writes.
For the application to work, you need a video with a person whose facial gestures will be replaced, and a web camera to capture the face of the second person.
The authors showed the opportunities their technology offers in a 7-minute video with public speeches of Donald Trump, George Bush, and Vladimir Putin.
