A restaurant in Tel Aviv offers spinning, glowing and reflective dishes to improve customer's food photography during dinner.
A restaurant in Tel Avis, Catit and Carmel Winery, launched Foodography, a marketing plan aimed at teaching customers how to make stunning food photos for Instagram. Dan Perez teaches customers tips and hints for better phone photography as waiters serve special dishes designed to create interesting photos. Some of the dishes presented are semi-spherical plates that reflect light, or rotating plates that assist in finding the best angle. The dishes have a built-in smartphone stand as well. A five-course dinner costs $155.
The campaign will end on July 1st. Photos of the participants can be viewed on Instagram with the hashtag #fdgr.
