A Book with Stamp Designs from All Over the World to be Published in the UK
The collection features French, Canadian, Bulgarian, Brazilian, and German stamps from the previous century.
Graphic Stamps by the independent publisher Unit Editions will be the first book in the graphic design series. The book is based on the personal collection of Blair Thomson and Iain Follett, Creative Review reports.
In their interviews they say that stamps are unjustly forgotten when speaking about design, and that usually more attention is given to the design of books, musical albums and posters. The publication is aimed to attract attention to the technical and aesthetic perfection of postal stamps created in different parts of the world.
