National Geographic Selects the Winners of a Photo Contest for Children
The jury selected the best works from over 42,000 submissions.
National Geographic announced the winners of the annual photography contest for children that accepts works from authors aged between six and 14, The Huffington Post writes.
The best works were selected from over 42,000 submissions. This year’s winner is 11-year-old Dewi Baggerman: she was awarded with a trip to Washington and the visit to National Geographic headquarters.
The other winners include Kate Anderson from the US who took a picture of a chick near a toy microphone, as well as Pan Yinzhi from China with his photograph taken from a drone, and Sanya Jain with a photograph taken in India.
