Video: How Could Passengers the Movie Be Rearranged to Make It Better
Evan Puschak offered an alternative plot for Morten Tyldum's movie.
American video blogger Evan Puschak, the author of Nerdwriter1 blog, published a video where he attempts to make the Passengers a more interesting movie, by simply changing the order of scenes in it. He says that while the Passengers is not a bad movie, one of its drawbacks is that it is too predictable.
This could have been prevented very simply, Puschak says: it was enough to start is story with the awakening of Jennifer Lawrence’s heroine, not Chris Pratt’s hero. This approach would have added suspense that the story is lacking: the audience wouldn’t know how Lawrence’s heroine woke up and if Pratt could be trusted.
