The Museum of Modern Art Gives Free Online Access to over 65,000 Works of Art
The archive includes both the works of contemporary artists and works created 100–150 years ago.
The Museum of Modern Art in NYC digitized and put up a collection of over 65,000 works of art for free access online, Open Culture writes. The Collection includes both contemporary works and works that are 50, 100 or 150 years old.
The collection is divided into two dozen categories by theme: Design, Painting, Video, Architecture and so on. For instance, the Photograph category has over 11,000 entries.
Viewers of the collection can also search art works by the name of the artist, name of the artwork, or the period when it was created.
