MoMA Launches Online Photography Course

The Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA) launched a six-week photography course on Coursera, Seeing Through Photographs, PetaPixel writes. It is taught by Sarah Meister, the curator of the Department of Photography at MoMA.
The course includes video lectures, audio slideshows on different photography genres, as well as an online tour of the museum’s 180-year-old collection.
“It is our hope that Seeing Through Photographs encourages learners to explore the gap between seeing photographs and truly understanding them”, — the authors of the project say.
