British Journal of Photography Contest Winners Announced

The works of Juno Calypso and Felicity Hammond were acknowledged as the best.

On Monday, December 7, the jury of International Photography Awards 2016, organized by British Journal of Photography, announced the names of the winners.

London photographer Juno Calypso placed first in the Series category, with her project called Joyce. Her works were selected from more than 1,500 applications.

“Juno’s photography has a very original identity. Although she only graduated recently, she already has a unique voice in photography. I can’t wait to see how she will exhibit this work in a gallery context”, — TJ Boulting’s Hannah Watson said.

Felicity Hammond, also from London, won the Single Award with her work Restore to Factory Settings, a C-type print, dedicated to the economic and social evolution of the British capital.

The winning works will be exhibited from February 25 to March 12, 2016 in TJ Boulting gallery and published in the BJP.
