Epson International Pano Awards Winners Announced

More than 4,000 works from 60 countries were submitted for selection.

The judging panel of Epson International Pano Awards 2015 announced the names of the winners, Huffington Post writes. The best works were selected from more than 4,000 photographs submitted by the authors from 60 countries.

The winner of the major open award is Max Rive with his work The Ice Prison, taken from the ice cave, which has the view on Ama Dablam mountain. The same photograph was also chosen as the best photograph in Nature / Landscape category. Darren Moore from the UK received the first prize in Architecture category for his work called Broadway Tower.

Phantoms of the Morning by a Polish photographer Tadeusz Piesiak won the major amateur award, and Foggy Sunrise at Wallaces Hut by John Finnan from Australia got the first prize in Architecture category (Wallaces Hut is one of the old mountain huts in the Alpine National Park. — Ed.).

Eruption of the volcano Kluchevskaya Sopka by a Russian photographer Dmitry Moiseenko won the major VR/360 award, and EPSON Digital Art Prize was awarded to Darren Moore. Lighting the Way by Carlos Turienzo was awarded Jeff Mitchum Award.
