French Illustrator Makes Animation for Nike+

The videos feature activities of joggers from cities in North America in 2014.

Nike released several animation films featuring achievements of 100,000 people – members of Nike+ community, those who use Nike +Training Club, and Nike+ Running apps.

The animated film was created by the French illustrator Matthieu Bessudo. The goal of the films is to remind athletes of all kinds how did they spent the last year, and also to encourage more people to be physically active. To make the ad as personalized as possible, Bessudo made videos for four different cities: Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Toronto.

“Each video is a personalized story of a year of hard work, whether from an individual or an entire city, they reflect the conviction and effort that goes into making your year count,” commented David Schriber, Vice President, North America Brand Marketing at NIKE, Inc.
