Instagram Becomes the Best Fashion Journalist of the Year
For the first time CFDA awards was given not to person, but to mobile app.
This year a mobile application Instagram was selected as a winner of the annual CFDA Fashion Awards contest in the categories The Media. This is a first case in the history of the contest, when nominee is not a person. Earlier the Council of Fashion Designers of America has awarded the journalists covering fashion industry such as Tim Blanks, Teri Agins and others. The jury has recognized that the best source of the fashion-content in 2014 was not a one person, but all the users of the social network.
