Link of the Day: Internet from 1990s Point of View

Old Web Today simulates old browsers.

American programmer Ilya Kreymer created a website called Old Web Today, which makes you see the Internet with the eyes of a person from 1990s, Motherboard writes.

OWT simulates viewing websites in browsers like Netscape, NSCA Mosaic, Internet Explorer and early versions of Firefox and Chrome. The pages load at the speed of dial-up connection, and look like they did 15–20 years ago — the saved copies are available on a dozen Internet archive services.
