Phaidon Press publishes a new book by Martin Parr

Phaidon Press just released a second edition of the monograph Martin Parr that covers his whole career as a photographer

British publisher of books on design, architecture and visual arts Phaidon Press released a new edition of the monograph of Martin Parr, a photographer from England, who is also a member of Magnum Photoagency (the first edition came out in 2004). The edition contains first black-and-white photos of Parr, as well as his latest shots. The new book represents the most complete collection of the photographer’s works. The author of the book’s texts and notes Val Williams, the director of London’s Research Center Of Photography, evaluates the contemporary influence of Parr’s works as well as their social context. Thanks to his lengthy professional experience with Martin he was able to fill the book with the extensive interviews and archive materials.

The renewed edition contains recent photos and three new chapters with analyses of the photoartist’s latest works and his achievements as a curator, filmmaker, and collector. The book is available for purchase on Amazon at the price of $100 .
