Photo of the Day: Largest Tribal Gathering in the World

French photographer Fabien Astre posted his series about the largest tribal gathering in the world to the Boredspanda website.

The gathering of the tribe has been conducted annually in the town of Goroka (Papua New Guinea) since 1957. For three days over one hundred tribes show off their dancing, music, clothes and jewelry. Astre told to DIY Photography that the show is not popular with tourists, but the event does have its own website.
