“Regarding Susan Sontag” will be Shown in Russia

On January 24th the documentary Regarding Susan Sontag was presented at the International Festival of Independent Films 2morrow. The film features the life of the most influential cultural critic of the 20th century and author of the fundamental book “On Photography.” Film director, Nancy Kates, collected information about the private and professional life of Susan Sontag, interviews with her relatives, friends and colleagues, video recording of her own speeches and as well as her words read by actress Patricia Clarkson. The film received the Special Jury Mention for Best Documentary Feature at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival.

The film will make his national debut on TV in Russia on February 5th on the Amedia Premium Channel, at 11 pm Moscow time (GMT+3), says cinemaobzor.ru.

For the film’s premiere, an on-line service “Amediateka” has opened a free access to the archive of the documentaries (service is available only in Russia).
