Link of the Day: Covers of Imaginary Books
Steve St. Pierre draws covers for imaginary books with titles that other people come up with.
About two months ago, a Canadian designer Steve St. Pierre asked his friends to come up with titles for imaginary books, which would best describe their lives, and then started to created covers for each of the suggested versions.
Currently there are about 100 covers on the webpage of the project, which got the name Jacket Everyday, and new works keep being added to the collection.
Until recently, people could post a request and order a personal version of the cover, but after the article about Jacket Everyday was published on BuzzFeed, the author had to switch this option off: “Unfortunately, due to the amount of submissions received (well over 1000), I’m going to have to shut down submissions for the time being”.
