Link of the Day: Vintage Japanese Movie Posters and Magazine Covers
There are about 50 artworks in the collection.
Philadelphia collector Will Schofield posted a selection of digitized Japanese movie posters and magazine covers on his website, most of which were created in the first half or in the middle of the 20th century.
The collection includes about 50 works, among them the poster to Dodes’ka-den (Clickety Clack) by Akira Kurosawa, which he drew himself, and posters to famous Western films, such as For a Few Dollars More by Sergio Leone, Shoot the Piano Player by François Truffaut, and Masculin Féminin by Jean-Luc Godard.
