BD Magazine Named the Ugliest Building in the UK
Carbuncle Cup was awarded to Lincoln Plaza, which the magazine says is 'a grotesque Jenga game of rabid rectilinear blocks'.

BD magazine named the winner of Carbuncle Cup award for the ugliest building in the UK: Lincoln Plaza business center in London designed by BUJ Architects.
The winner was selected by a jury made of BD editor Thomas Lane, architect and architectural critic Ike Ijeh, BD columnist Ben Flatman and the LSE’s director of estates Julian Robinson.
The shortlist for the award included five other buildings in addition to Lincoln Plaza. All of them fell victim to ‘contextual incongruity, incoherent form, and poor planning’. Most of the building are located in London.
