First Color Image of Pluto Is Published

A spacecraft took a photo of the dwarf planet and its largest moon from the distance of 115 million kilometers.

NASA revealed the first color image of Pluto and its moon Charon, sent from the New Horizons spacecraft on April 9th, reports CNN.The photo was made from the distance of 115 million kilometers nine years after the station launched. In June the spacecraft will be the closest possible distance and will be able to capture the planet in high resolution.
