Photographer Turns a Photo Upside Down and Becomes Popular on Reddit

Videographer Kevin Wolf made it to the first page of Reddit after he published the photograph of Sentinel Mountain from Yosemite National Park there.

Wolf noticed that after he edited the photograph, sand at the bottom of the river looked like stars. Then, he turned the photo upside down, and the top part that is actually a reflection in the water, made the impression that the scene was captured at night. Photographer published the edited photo on Reddit, and made it to the first page. In the comments to the photograph on Instagram many users said that found the photographer and subscribed to him after seeing the photo on Reddit.
