Catalog of the Exposure Photography Award is Published

A catalog of the winners of the Exposure Award exhibition hosted by the Louvre on July 13th is now available online. The exposition was presented in a digital format with the images demonstrated from a screen. About 200 photos were shown. They were selected from 5 million submissions to the photography competition.

The main prize of $75,000 was awarded to Gabriela Torres Ruiz from Mexico for a series of diptychs built around a theme of “silence and meditation.” The Early Entry Award was given to UK portrait photographer Briony Teasel, and Ronny K. was announced as the Vox Populi Award Winner.

The Exposure Award Photography Competition was conducted for the fifth time. Submissions were sent by photographers from 191 countries. The total sum of awards and grants has reached $1 million.
