Photographer Captured What Is Left of Shanghai’s Demolished Buildings

British artist and photographer Graham Fink photographed what is left of the demolished buildings in Shanghai.

Fink has spent five years making this series. He visited the places and districts where old houses are demolished and captured what had been left of everyday life of people who lived there. The land under the demolished buildings will be allocated to developers, who will erect office buildings, skyscrapers, and many residential buildings. This way, the series also shows the ongoing transformation of Chinese cities.

Fink’s old and new works are exhibited in the Riflemaker Gallery in London between February 1 and February 14.
