ABC7 posted a video of a giant traffic jam in Western part of Los Angeles of Thanksgiving Eve on Twitter.
According to Traffic Index 2015, Los Angeles has the busiest roads in the US. In 2014, the congestion in LA was 39%, in 2013 — 36%. In rush hour, the congestion level reaches 80%. On average, the top ten busiest US roads have the congestion level of 30%.
Los Angeles is in the top ten most congested cities in the world, according to the Traffic Index. The list is topped by Istanbul, Mexico, and Rio de Janeiro. Moscow comes the fourth.
