Nina Dobrev Takes Selfies with Push-Button Mobiles from the 2000s

Actress Nina Dobrev tries taking selfies with old phones from the 2000s for Wired.

The test started with a selfie on Nokia 3200 from 2003. Dobrev compared a phone with a brick and did not comment on the quality of the photograph. Motorola Q PDA from 2006 came next. The actress could not find a camera icon in the interface, so she needed help. The quality of the photograph was better than with Nokia 3200. Then, Dobrev tested Sony Ericsson Z310 from 2006, but she didn’t like the selfie. With LG LS365 from 2011 with a 2 megapixel camera the actress noted that it is difficult to take a selfie with a slider with full keyboard. She did not comment on the quality of the selfie with Motorola V220 from 2003 either.

BlackBerry Curve 8300 from 2007 with a two megapixel camera and LG enV Touch from 2009 with a 3.2 megapixel camera were the last models that were tested. Dobrev confessed that she hates the phones with full keyboard and laughed at people who ensured in the late 2000s that it is good for typing emails.

The actress finished the test with taking a selfie with iPhone 6, and gave the viewers three pieces of advice: lift you phone higher, use an iPhone, and find a good light.
