Link of the Day: Archive of Good Italian Design from the 1930s till the Present Day

Nicola-Matteo Munari, the founder of Munari Design studio, created the archive of graphic and industrial design from Italy — Archivio Grafica Italiana.

The archive includes examples of good book, catalogue, flyer, leaflet design, as well as design of logos, packaging, magazines, posters, and other projects. The archive currently features 200 projects from 55 designers and 14 studios. The earliest is dated 1937, and the latest — 2010. Many have never been published in open access before. It is planned to continue adding more projects to the archive.

Munari says that Archivio Grafica Italiana shows the classical works of Italian design and the best contemporary projects.
