Google Street Advertising That Works Like Web Banners
The new system analyzes the road situation, weather, audience and local events.
Google announced the test run of street advertising that works like web banners, TJournal writes. Several new billboards have already been installed in London.
The algorithm of the new system is similar to DoubleClick and allows for analysis of the road situation, weather, audience and local events and use it all to show the advertising that is the most effective for each case. For instance, the system may remind those drivers who are going home to remember to watch a new episode of a TV series.
Google representatives say that this technology is far from the possibility to individually address everyone, but may show advertisers how to combine online and offline campaigns effectively.
