Link of the Day: Photos of Afghanistan in 1960s
The photographs were taken by American Bill Podlich in 1967 and 1968.
In late 1960s Bill Podlich, a university professor from the US, went on a trip to Afghanistan, where he worked as education expert in one of Kabul’s colleges, Daily Mail writes. Over two years he took many pictures, where he captured Afghanistan as it was almost 50 years ago.
The whole collection has now been published by his son in law on PBase and has more than 100 photographs.
