Romanian Instagramers Mimic Rich Kids
KFC in Romania invited teenagers to upload onto Instagram their own versions of “rich life” with hashtag #distractiecubaniputini, which can be translated in Romania as “Fun with little money.”
The campaign was launched to spoof the “Rich Kids” (known as #RKOI) Instagram community, where children of rich parents take photos with luxury goods and expensive pets. To respond to the #RKOI photos, Romanian Instagramers have posed with rubber crocodiles and diamonds made from paper, writes The Daily Mail.
