16 Artists Included on List of 100 Most Influential People

TIME published the traditional April list of the 100 Most Influential People. The list is divided into the five categories: Titans, Pioneers, Artists, Leaders, and Icons. Instead of the usual biographical information, the journalists asked celebrities to write a few words about the winners. Martha Stewart wrote about Kim Kardashian, Petro Poroshenko — about Angela Merkel, Yoko Ono — about Haruki Murakami.

List of the most influential artists this year includes 16 people, namely: actor Bradley Cooper, filmmaker Richard Linklater, painter Chris Ofili, actress Julianna Margulies, comedian Amy Schumer, fashion designer Alexander Wang, screen writer Jill Soloway, actor Chris Pratt, singer Audra McDonald, musician Tim McGraw, comedian Kevin Hart, novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, actress Julianne Moore, film director Christopher Nolan, writer Marie Kondo and satirist John Oliver.
