Gianfranco Gallo combined photographs of actors in real life with shots of their characters from the series.
Italian designer and retoucher Gianfranco Gallo published a series of works where he combined photographs of actors from the Game of Thrones as their characters and in real life.
“Game of Thrones goes to great lengths to bring the characters in George R.R. Martin’s books to life,” the author says. “The result is that some of the main cast members look almost unrecognizable if you were to meet them out of character. You may have even passed one on the street and had no idea.”
