Playboy Publishes the First Issue with Non-Erotic Cover

The first redesigned issue will go on sale on February 12th.

The first issue of Playboy after its redesign and decision to stop featuring naked women will be published with a cover in the style of Snapchat pictures, The Verge writes.

It is reported that 20-year-old model Sarah McDaniel will be featured on the cover of March issue, who became famous due to her congenital heterochromia, an anomalous pigmentation of the iris, which causes them to have different colors.

The issue that goes on sale on February 12 will also feature other models, including writer Ernest Hemingway’s granddaughter, Dree Hemingway.

According to The New York Times, it is hard to say that the new issue of a popular men’s magazine will be completely devoid of erotic content, but the photographs are indeed shot from a more innocent perspective.

Playboy announced the change of concept in October the previous year: the company representatives say such measures were taken because it was impossible to compete with the easily available erotic photographs on the Internet.
