Instagram of the Day: Color Arrangements
American photographer Emily Blincoe posts photographs where she turns everyday objects into bright color arrangements on her Instagram account.
“You could take a photo of a bouquet of flowers or you could spend five hours clipping the tops and arranging them by gradient” — Blincoe says in her interview for CNN. — “It’s just a different way of looking at something that other people aren’t willing to put in the time for.”
This is my third and final image of items found on the beach during my trip to Mexico. These toothbrushes, among various other plastic items, have come from all over the world to wash up on the shores in Tulum. I don't have all the answers, but this trip has definitely inspired me to try and be more thoughtful with the plastic I purchase. I will for sure be buying a bamboo toothbrush from here on out and taking a hard look at the necessity of items that are designed for short-term use that are made of a material that can take decades to decompose. A little can do a lot. ? #Аrrangements
