Transition to Winter Time Makes Each of the Newborn Twins Older Than His Brother

Transition to winter time made each of the newborn twins Ronan and Samuel Peterson older than the other.

Transition to winter time makes each of the twins who were born in Cape Cod Hospital of West Barnstable, Massachusetts is older than his brother: one according to the real birth order, and another according to the documents, the hospital homepage says.

The first boy, Samuel, was born at 1:39 on the night between November 5 and November 6. After that, at 2 am the clock was turned an hour back, and time of birth of Samuel’s brother Ronan, who was in fact born at 2:10 am, was registered as 1:10 am.

This makes each of the boys older than his brother. The mother of the twins, 32-year-old Emily Peterson says that the nurse told her she hadn’t seen anything like that in the 40 years of her career.

“I personally think it’s kind of cool that one’s ‘older’ and one’s born first. Hopefully they’re not going to be fighting over it for the rest of their lives,” Peterson added.
