Winners of iPhone Photography Awards Announced
The jury of the 9th international contest iPhone Photography Awards announced the names of the 2016 winners, Time writes. The best works were selected from several thousand applications from 139 countries.
Siyuan Niu of Xinjiang, China won the Grand Prize with his Man and the Eagle. Also among the winners are Patryk Kuleta of Warsaw, Poland and Californian Robin Robertis and Floridan Carolyn Mara Borlenghi.
The jury has also selected the best photographs in each of the 19 theme categories: People, Landscape, Food, Flowers, Travel, and others.
iPhone Photography Awards has been held since 2007. This is the first and the most large-scale mobile photography contest in the world. Anyone can participate: you just need to upload a photograph taken with an iPhone or iPad.
Photographers can process images only with the help of mobile applications, it is prohibited to use Photoshop or Lightroom.
