NASA Showed How a Year on Earth Looks from Space
The video is compiled from the photographs taken from the distance of one million kilometers from the surface of the Earth.
NASA posted a 3-minute video where it showed how a year on Earth looks from space, PetaPixel writes. The video has been viewed over a million times in less than a week.
The final video is made from over 3,000 separate photographs taken from the distance of 1 million kilometers by EPIC (Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera), which is a part of the DSCOVR satellite and takes photographs of the surface of the Earth every two hours.
