Time Selects the Best of Drone Photography in 2016
The editors selected the most memorable photographs of 2016.
Time published a selection of the best photographs of the year that were taken with drones. The authors studied the images uploaded by users of popular aerial photo communities, Dronestagram and SkyPixel.
The resulting selection includes 26 photographs, among them the picture of high-rises in one of Hong Kong’s districts, the photograph of an ancient fortress in Ireland, and a photo of a bridge at the border between Colombia and Venezuela crossed by thousands of people.
