Infographic of the Day: Drug Pleasure Ratings

Researchers measured pleasure of tobacco, alcohol, cocaine, cannabis, and other drugs.

Global Drug Survey published the Drug Pleasure rating. According to the research team it is the first attempt to explore the balance of pleasure and harm for drug usage. The list of the studied substances includes alcohol, amphetamine, cannabis, cocaine, GHB/GBL, ketamine, LSD, magic mushrooms, MDMA, mephedrone, and tobacco.

The ratings were compiled based on answers from 22,000 respondents. Each one of them evaluated the positive and negative effect of the drugs on a scale from 1 to 10. To calculate the advantages balanced by the disadvantages (bars colored in white), the research team subtracted the negative index from the positive.
