Netflix Shows a Trailer of a New Documentary Show About Modern Design

On January 21, the new documentary show by Netflix will be premiered during Sundance festival — it is called Abstract: The Art of Design and tells the stories of eight modern designers in eight episodes, Wired writes.

All of them work in different spheres: some in architecture and creating illustrations, some in typography or industrial design.

“I can guess what you’re thinking,” Scott Dadich, Wired editor and one of the authors of the show says. “I have watched a lot of design documentaries. Most of it is clean, minimal, and boring as hell. We’re not doing that. [We] built a team of today’s best-known documentarians. Here is my totally nonobjective review: It’s awesome. I rate it two thumbs up, five stars, and 100 percent fresh.”

Netflix subscribers will be able to start watching Abstract: The Art of Design starting February 10.
