Designers Create the Map of the World with Song Titles Instead of Country Names
The map includes over 1,000 songs.
British studio called Dorothy presented the World Song Map, where the names of countries and cities are replaces with song titles that are associated with each of the regions.
For instance, Ukraine is signed with Rebirth of a Nation, War Zone, or From Russia with Love. The songs that signify Russia include Back in USSR, Wide Open Space, and Empire State of Mind.
The area of Great Britain bears the name of Anarchy in the U.K by Sex Pistols, American is signed with Born in the USA, and the Mediterranean Sea is indicated with Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.
The authors of World Song Map placed over 1,000 songs on the it — it is available in high resolution here.
