Time Selected 10 Best Magazine Covers of the Year

The list includes the covers of Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, and The Time itself.

Time posted ten best magazine covers of 2015, as selected by their photo editors. The authors say they tried to make the range of themes and genres as broad as possible: from current events to fashion and sports.

The selections includes, among other, the cover of July issue of Vanity Fair with Caitlyn Jenner on it, as well as the cover of the August issues of New York Magazine, with a photo of 35 women, who accused Bill Cosby of rape. The authors also noted the work of French artist JR, who created the painting of a migrant on one of NYC’s squares, which was featured on the cover of New York Times Magazine.

The top 10 also includes one of the issues of Time itself, covering the Baltimore protests in spring 2015. The cover photo was retrieved from Instagram of 27-year-old Devin Allen, the resident of Baltimore.
