Jacob Swinney Compared Short and Feature Versions of Whiplash

American filmmaker continues to analyze famous movies.

American filmmaker Jacob Swinney, known for his famous movie-themed videos, published a new work where he compares scenes from short and feature versions of Whiplash.

The 18-minute short version was created by director Damien Chazelle in 2012, two years prior to the feature film: he used it to search for producers who would help him create a feature.

In his video, Swinney compares the scenes present in both versions of Whiplash. The Film Stage, writes that he stuck to the original script and recreated most scenes almost frame-by-frame surprisingly well.
