British Journal of Photography Holds Breakthrough Awards 2016

The deadline for entries is May 1, 2016.

The British Journal of Photography announced that their international contest for young photographers, Breakthrough Awards 2016, is open for entries. The works of four winners will be published in the magazine and exhibited during the Free Range exhibition in July 2016 in London.

The deadlines for entries is May 1, contestants can apply in the “Single Image” and “Series” categories (up to 20 photographs). It is expected that the applicants are students or recent graduates.

Among the judges of the Breakthrough Awards are Simon Bainbridge, British Journal of Photography editorial director and Time contributor, Gemma Padley, freelance journalist and British Journal of Photography project’s editor, and Jamie McIntyre, art director at It’s Nice That.
