Флешмоб наполовину накрашенных женщин собрал 13 000 фото

После того как автор видеоблога NikkieTutorials Никки де Ягер выложила видео «Сила макияжа» — о том, как косметика может изменить внешность, женщины со всего мира начали публиковать свои фото с макияжем и без. Для этого под хештегом #ThePowerOfMakeup они выкладывают в Сеть свои селфи, на которых половина их лица накрашена, а другая нет.

Флешмоб начался полтора месяца назад и продолжается до сих пор – девушки выложили в Инстаграм уже больше 13 000 снимков, а видео, с которого всё началось, собрало 17 миллионов просмотров.

Inspired by @nikkietutorials.. posting this picture to shut down make-up shamers with #thepowerofmakeup .. I don't wear make up on a daily basis, but I do when there are big occasions or when I'm cosplaying.. Therefore, I get a lot of comments when I do indeed put on make up.. It's either "you look so much better with/without make up on", "who are you trying to impress", "so fake", "she must hate herself to rely on so much make up", "this is why I don't trust girls" or "such an attention seeker".. I wear make up to express, not to impress.. I'm doing it for myself and not for pleasing anyone else.. I know I look different and I'm proud that I do as its a skill that I've tried achieving through my years of cosplaying..
